There Might Be Good Reasons To Get The Better Marriage Blanket

There May Be Good Reasons To Get The Better Marriage Blanket

It is not easy to keep a straight face or not make jokes about the Better Marriage Blanket. (I am pretty certain I’m guilty of making jokes though.) The Better Marriage Blanket indeed has a useful purpose, which is to save the nostrils of either or both partners in a loving relationship from suffering during the night because of … let us say, digestive unease on the part of the other person. Yes, that would mean flatulence. It might be worth some quick cash, as some people do suffer from real digestive disorders.

Odor absorbing technology part of the Better Marriage Blanket

There is real science behind the Better Marriage Blanket. You can check it out at bettermarriageblanket.com. It uses activated charcoal as a filler material in the blanket, which blocks odors. Many air and water filtration systems already use activated charcoal, or rather, activated carbon. That involves the space suits NASA astronauts wear. It can certainly spare you or your partner (or both of you) from a scorched olfactory system in case someone devoured the enchilada combo platter.

This has to be a joke, you are pulling my chain right?

Though the Better Marriage Blanket is fodder for jokes, it certainly is not. Other products exist for the same reason, such as charcoal filter equipped underwear. (That isn’t really a joke.) The main gas released in flatus (what doctors call it) is really nitrogen, which activated charcoal is exceptional at capturing. Activated charcoal tablets is a folk remedy for digestive gas, and has been for well over a century.

There could possibly be something wrong

It might not be something to laugh at – excess gas can be due to disease. That consists of belching too. According to WebMD, excess gas, besides being socially embarrassing, and bloating due to excess gas could be signs of digestive issues, like acid reflux. Most often, it is caused by diet, such as a lactose intolerance, and starches and carbohydrates are usual suspects. That does not mean you shouldn’t have laid off the beans.
