Branson film slip caused by migraine headache

Branson went from zero to viral video hero, as her troubles with speaking made her an internet sensation. However, her slurred words and problems with speech were likely due to a migraine. The viral film of Branson showed the media reporter having speech issues, which was thought to be because of either a stroke or the media reporter having taken to the air after hitting the sauce. Branson was examined by doctors after the incident. She has been clinically diagnosed with having had a migraine and has recovered.

Media reporter from viral video did not have a stroke

KCBS TV sent Serene Branson after the Grammy Awards in LA to cover the event. In the Serene Branson Grammy coverage film, the reporter speaks gibberish and has great difficulty talking, and the station quickly cut to another story. Many thought maybe Branson had a stroke while others thought maybe the reporter had just gotten really intoxicated. There were lots of tests done to find out that Branson did not have a stroke. MSNBC reports that it was reported as a migraine. She had noticed that before she went on camera, she had difficult reading, forming thoughts and had gone numb on the right side of her face, which caused her speech issues.

Headache is not what a migraine is

A migraine is not just an aggressive headache; it’s a complex event that takes place in the brain. A "migraine aura" was what Branson experienced which is much like a stroke in the symptoms that are shown in it, in accordance with the Los Angeles Times. Symptoms such as a change in vision, seeing lights blurry or brighter than normal, feeling numb, having a difficult time talking or other things can all be symptoms of a migraine aura in accordance with WebMD, although it does not take place during all migraines.

Can debilitate people

Those with migraines know how difficult it’s. It can be hard to do anything. Several headaches are really terrible although a lot of people can just lie down for a while. Since migraine auras are really severe sometimes, it could be a good idea to seek medical attention. The reason for migraines is not entirely known, but you will find risk factors such as smoking and family history of migraines.

MD homeowners may be charged an upkeep fee

In some regions of the country, the number of foreclosures continues to rise. A fee is intended to address several of the troubles associated with foreclosures. One Maryland county is hoping that fee could be the solution. Allowing a home to fall into disrepair would also trigger a legal charge, under this new bill. Resource for this article – Maryland charging a foreclosure maintenance fee by MoneyBlogNewz.

Foreclosure rate in Maryland high

Ever since the 2008 housing collapses, MD has had lots of foreclosures. Prince George County in Maryland has had one foreclosure for every 457 homes thus far in 2011. In Prince George County, the property value is decreasing while inventory goes up. This is because now of the homes are being maintained well. This is bad in the first place. Add on top of that, that the Prince George County tax revenues are going down, and it is disaster.

Appeal for foreclosure fees

In order to do something with homes that aren't maintained, Prince George County has been trying to appeal to state lawmakers. Foreclosure costs on foreclosed homes of $75 a year would be a fee charged by the county. A county fund would be where all the money goes. It would pay contractors to clean abandoned houses up. Essentially, it would be one more payment on the short term installment loans of foreclosures. The county would also be given the right to send inspectors to check on foreclosed homes.

Reason the reason why foreclosure costs are unlikely

Property values would improve a lot with the short term loan that a foreclosure fee would be. It would help the foreclosed homes stay taken care of. The fee wouldn't be easy to get. It would become a severe issue. The $75 fee would not be collected from the homeowner in debt by the county. However, that means the county may be trying to collect a per-house fee from banks that own the properties and are not maintaining them. The county would have to discover a way to make sure that the payment gets paid. It can be done by simply creating a civil misdemeanor offense for not “keeping a property up to neighborhood standards.”

Study reveals correlation between weed use and mental illness

Marijuana use and mental condition discovered to be linked

New study has found a connection among a greater likelihood of mental condition and using weed. Marijuana use was connected to psychological illness by a review of 83 studies involving more than 8,000 patients, which showed that using marijuana brought on mental illness symptoms to emerge far earlier in individuals which were at risk for creating schizophrenia and other forms of psychosis. Marijuana use and mental illness has been connected before. Evidently there’s a new form of "Reefer Madness" around.

Marijuana users develop psychological condition quicker

WebMD explained that those predisposed to psychological illnesses are more likely to get faster mental illnesses when using marijuana. There could be a psychiatric science journal releasing the study in June. This is the Archives of General Psychiatry. Dr. Matthew Large who is from the Prince of Wales Hospital located in Sydney, Australia, led the team that did the study. Pot was connected in the study to psychological health getting brought about earlier, especially schizophrenia, in the 83 individual studies that over 8,000 people were involved in.

Narcotic use with Marijuana

In the study, there is a link clearly shown with marijuana use. It shows that psychological illnesses like schizophrenia show symptoms sooner when cannabis is being uses assuming the person is already at risk for the disease. Those who used weed had symptoms 2.7 years earlier than those who didn't. This was with schizophrenia. People who used multiple substances, including cannabis, cocaine and other drugs, developed symptoms of mental condition two years earlier than those who did not use narcotics. The Time reports that alcohol wouldn't accelerate symptoms as long as it was the only thing used. There was not enough evidence in the study to suggest that psychological illness was not impacted by tobacco use.

Study warns those at risk of mental condition ought to not use narcotics

Using psychoactive substances is something that people at risk for psychological illnesses are told not to use. There has been more than one research suggesting a connection among schizophrenia and other forms of psychosis and weed use. There is not anything that states schizophrenia can be brought on by cannabis, just that symptom shows up faster when weed is getting used.

Gisele Bundchen declines labeling sunscreen poison in mistranslation

Bundchen is a 30-year-old Brazilian model and businesswoman. When talking about sun block, however, Bundchen was cited as labeling the screen “poison”. {Gisele Bundchen declines calling sunscreen poison, though, claiming it was a "mistranslation."|Reps for the model, however, are saying that this was an error in interpretation.|The representatives for the model are denying this statement. Instead, they are labeling the quotation a “mistranslation." Post resource – Gisele Bundchen denies calling sunscreen poison in mistranslation by MoneyBlogNewz.

Gisele Bundchen claims sun block poisons several

At a press conference where Bundchen was promoting her skin care line, Bundchen said something surprising. Bundchen was quoted stating “I cannot put this poison on my skin. I do not use anything synthetic," after getting asked about SPF in her product. Upon continued investigation, it was rumored that Bundchen tries to not go outside during the hours of 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., when UV rays are strong.

Gisele Bundchen refuses to admit to it

There was a reply from Gisele Bundchen just a couple days after the press conference happened. The idea that sun block is poison wasn't something she said, according to Bundchen anyway. The quote was just a mistranslation, she claims. There was a statement from official representatives of Bundchen released. It said: “They misquoted her due to a language barrier. Gisele would never say not to use sunscreen because she has family members who have had skin cancer.” The sun block Bundchen uses has chemicals that cannot be in it. She also avoids being in the sun too often.

The issue sunscreen brings

Sunscreen is not a product without problems. Sunscreen ought to be used whenever you are outside. This is so UV radiation will not hurt your skin, doctors and cancer experts explain. The EWG does not like the idea of sunscreen though. Less than 5 percent are safe and effective of all sunscreens, they say. There is no FDA regulation on sun block. Sunscreen disrupts hormones though with the oxybenzone in it. Too much sunscreen can mean a vitamin D deficiency though. Cancer can be accelerated this way. It’s really bad for your body to be getting too much sunscreen on it. At the same time, it’s very dangerous to stay away from safeguarding your skin from the sun also.

Obama activates blackouts, blocks out the sun

Record cool and harsh winter storms have prompted some TX towns to experiment with power-saving blackouts. Is this an indication of the season, or a nefarious plot straight from President Obama, Jones wonders. President Obama theoretically triggers the blackouts of lights, the coal industry, the Internet (via a "kill switch") and the entire post-industrial U.S.

The real account about Obama

The house of cards that is the "Obama triggers blackouts" freak out is situated upon an out-of-context 12-second video clip, report Death + Taxes. Barack Obama was a senator from Illinois. In the clip on Info-wars, he is in these past days. Obama's belief on the proposed cap and trade legislation on carbon emissions was asked about, while also asking how the coal sector would be impacted as greenhouses gases comes from there. The following is taken out of context from the full 2008 conversation which could be viewed on YouTube in what Alex Jones calls the Obama administration's industrial warfare where Sen. Obama claims:

"So, if somebody wants to build a coal-powered plant, they can, but it will bankrupt them because they’re going to be charged a huge sum for all that greenhouse gas that’s being emitted."

In case you are to view the full interview, you’ll know what Sen. Obama's true intentions are. He didn't think that coal energy ought to be lost by the U.S. Instead of just spewing carbon emissions into the sky, coal power providers might work harder to try and store and re-purpose carbon emissions which were the theoretical terms he was speaking in. The idea is to motivate change, not attack a sector that provides many thousands of United States careers.

Other rumors that need repairing

You will find no blackouts triggered by the Obama administration while the cap and trade system did not occur. It’s been roundly criticized for not being able to regulate big power companies effectively, so what kind of power does Alex Jones think Obama really has?

There is not any kind of ecological legislation. That means industrial carbon emissions do not even get checked. You will find many scientists upset about this because of the climate change brought on. This includes the giant Midwestern blizzard that just occurred. The Arctic is being warmed by all these gases. That means colder and snowier winters are to be expected for a while.

18 writers try to go plastic free in February

During the month of February, a single group is issuing a challenge. Plastic Free in February is the first large struggle to go one month without using or purchasing the oil-based item. So far 18 writers are a part of the established movement, however hundreds are participating. Give it a shot, it won’t require a payday loan or money of any sort. Just sign up and give it a go. Article resource – Plastic free in February – Bloggers attempt to cut it out by MoneyBlogNewz.

February plastic free challenge

The Rodale blog has a lot of followers. It is all about health and environmentalism too. When it comes to the Plastic Free in February challenge for February, over a dozen writers have decided to do it. There are three conditions to agree upon for the struggle. One, there is no buying or acquiring new plastic. Two, there is no cooking with or storing any food in plastic containers. All plastic use is minimized on top of this. It’s a basic struggle, but it’s also a very difficult challenge because plastic is everywhere.

Why use February to stay away from plastic for what?

Rodale has instituted the Plastic Free in February struggle to help reduce use of and bring attention to the downsides of plastic. Plastic is a petroleum product that demands toxic chemicals to process and manufacture. Often, plastic packaging and containers are thrown away after they are used. The plastic generally ends up in a landfill, where it does not break down. Plastic won't break down within the environment typically. That means that it will end up as litter in waterways too. That half-broken down plastic can leach chemicals into groundwater and end up in drinking water.

The challenge to be Plastic Free in February for all

Bloggers who are taking part in the Plastic Free in February struggle are already trading tips on how to meet the goal. Suggestions contain glass cooking utensils, ceramic dishes, fabric shopping bags and fabric storage bags. Those in the challenge will probably end up eating whole foods or vegan foods. This is just as the packaging that meat and processed food comes in is typically in plastic.

U.S. auto revenue up with new models and pent-up demand

The new year is starting out on a high note for United States automobile sales. United States automakers reported year-over-year sales gains for Jan. Historically, Jan is a notoriously slow month for U.S. car revenue. The U.S. car industry finished 2010 with powerful revenue and sector experts forecast a sustained upward trend in United States automobile sales for 2011.

U.S. car sector recovering

The auto sector sale and pricing site, truecar.com reported sales increases in January. Almost every U.S. automaker reported this. You will find several reasons why the U.S. auto industry is doing this well. These contain all the new models, the higher consumer confidence, the demand going up, the stable fuel prices and the low financing rates. The Ford Motors explorer was redesigned. Others are also anxious about the General Motors Volt plug in hybrid and the Ford Explorer. Ford and General Motors rode those new models and a new public perception in manufacturing quality to the biggest revenue increases among U.S. automakers.

Details on United States automobile sales

U.S. automobile sales in Jan were not as much about fleet revenue and discounts as they were this year. That is a good sign. Now, dealer showrooms are used again. Households are returning again. A 22 percent increase in revenue for year over year was recorded by General Motors. In Jan, a 9 percent increase in revenue was recorded by Ford Motors too. General Motors increased auto revenue to individual customers 36 percent and Ford saw a 27 percent improvement in that category–the largest year-over-year increase for the company in more than 10 years. Nissan reported a 15 percent increase. A rise of 23 percent was reported by Chrysler too. Then, Toyota reported a 17 percent increase. That was not good enough though. Toyota’s sub-par performance was largely because of a recall of more than 10 million automobiles worldwide.

U.S. automobile sales trending upward

January sales were really good for U.S. automakers. It was 17 percent higher than Jan 2010 showed. There has been an increase in annual rates from 10.8 million in Jan 2010, to 12.5 million in December, to 12.6 million in January 2011. The U.S. automobile sector has shown an 11.1 percent increase this year. That means 11.6 million autos total. U.S. auto revenue bottomed out in 2009 at 10.4 million. In 2011, U.S. automakers expect the market to do well. About 13 million are anticipated to sell. In 2007, before the recession, United States auto revenue got fairly high. They made it to 16.1 million.
