It was recently announced that Megan Fox will not be appearing within the third Transformers film. There had previously been a war of words between her, director Michael Bay, the crew from the film within the press. Some will curse her absence, and others may be grateful as this opens up the opportunity for the makers of the 3rd Transformers installment to focus on writing a better script this time.

Transformers 3 will not feature Megan Fox
Rumors had swirled that Transformers 3 wouldn’t feature Megan Fox. That isn’t really a rumor any longer. Maybe this time they’ll discover an actress that can actually act. It isn't known what she is going to be doing instead, though it won't likely to be heading off to Julliard for acting classes. Whatever the reason was, it is clear she won’t be getting quick cash from the Transformers franchise anymore. It was supposedly confirmed by the Michael Bay camp, as outlined by the New York Daily News. Michael Bay himself has been silent about it, though.
Megan Fox maintains it was her idea
According to CNN, Megan Fox is saying it was her idea to not participate in Transformers 3. She is stressing that she wasn't fired, although there is rampant speculation that she was, due to statements which were detrimental to the director. Members of the film crew blasted her as a spoiled brat without talent in an open letter penned after her derogatory statements about Michael Bay were released within the press. Whether Megan Fox has brachydactyly afflicted thumbs or not, the individuals who made her Razzie-nominated performance possible gave her the finger.
What’s next?
Summer 2011 is when Transformers 3 is likely to come out. Summer is when a lot of blockbusters come out. Megan Fox, along with Josh Brolin, will star in Jonah’s Hex, a film depending on the comic book series of the same name. She can be the female lead. I guess we’ll all discover out eventually if she shouldn’t have stayed.
