Comments On The View - Elizabeth Hasselbeck On Erin Andrews

Elizabeth Hasselbeck's comments on Erin Andrews about the Dancing with the Stars wardrobe hasn't endeared the “View” co host to many. One comment Hasselbeck made referring to Andrews and about how her stalker should have just waited to see her within the outfits rather than invading her privacy. Saying these remarks were a bit insensitive is an understatement. It takes a lot more than some installment payday loans for a truckload of mouthwash to cure the taste of foot-in-mouth after this type of thing.

Elizabeth Hasselbeck and her remarks on Erin Andrews

Elizabeth Hasselbeck suggested on Tuesday, May 4, on the View that Erin Andrews’ “Dancing with the Stars” outfits seemed to reveal too much. Rather than just saying something to the effect of “her outfits are just a little skimpy” and then moving on, she decided that she’s the fashion police and that it is acceptable to joke about the Erin Andrews peephole video event and when everyone watched in horror:

“as inexcusable as it was for that guy to go in and try to peep on her in her hotel room … I mean, in some way if I’m him, I’m like ‘Man! I could’ve just waited 12 weeks and seen this,’ a little bit less, without the prison time!”

(This came from the Huffington Post). It would appear that regardless how rich a person gets, you just can’t buy common sense, or class for that matter. Ironically enough, it is forgotten to be displayed by the rich class often.

Erin Andrews doesn't seem amused

In response to Elizabeth Hasselbeck, Erin Andrews declared her remarks a “slap in the face to victims of stalking and sexual predators” after she appeared on Dancing with the Stars.

Hasselbeck apologizes

On May 5, Hasselbeck apologized for her remarks. She even teared up during her apology. She doesn't really be sorry but some are assuming she is only in trouble because she got caught.

Where should the line get drawn?

The fallout of Elizabeth Hasselbeck's Erin Andrews remarks will run its course and can be forgotten soon. I guess all that matters is she put her foot in her mouth and realized she had done so. Although nobody should feel like they can't say what they think, some things go a little too far.
