During the show she was generally the center of controversy with her huge bows when she worked for the drama rather than the competition. Within the end, Brig's buns with extensions won even though the other two finalists, Matthew Morris and Janine Jarman, were much more liked by fans. Many people think that the "triumph over adversity" story by Briggs was pushed too much.
No matter what these reasons happen to be, Brig managed to get herself on the show and then to discover herself winning the Shear Genius competition.
