Masters upstaged by Amy Mickelson affair to win hubby Phil

Wife of 2010 Masters champion Phil Mickelson, Amy Mickelson, is fighting breast cancer. Phil Mickelson once left the game of golf for several months in order to care for her. Some people don't think that is enough. Considering Woods didn't win the Masters even though he did finish in a tie for fourth and failed to juggle multiple strippers at hole 19, the media has decided to fling trash at Phil and Amy Mickelson. Allegedly, both have had affairs although that isn't the issue. The timing of these intended revelations is exactly what strikes a sour note after a fine weekend of golf by Phil.

Phil had an affair with Ohio stripper when Amy Mickelson had an affair with Michael Jordan

Don't let Phil and Amy Mickelson enjoy the Masters victory much. The Woods trash train needs fuel to help fire it, whether it is true or not. Since Michael Jordon is notorious for having a wandering eye so the Amy and Michael Jordan allegation isn't surprising. His gambling might have taken him to cash advances also. It has also been written that Phil Mickelson fathered a child with a stripper in Ohio. Wei Under Par claims that Sports Illustrated was preparing to blow the lid off of all of this stuff, but the Michelson's threat to sue kept it from getting out. Read into it whatever you need, but don't wager a payday cash loan on any truth.

Don't pick the joyful ending – pick the storybook ending

This is how the New York Daily News set the scene for Phil Michelson's win. It was very emotional:

“It was a scene out of a Disney movie, really: Amy, a woman fighting breast cancer and all its medical meanness, weary, dabbing her cheeks with a napkin, waving to the crowd; Phil walking alongside her, teary-eyed himself; Jim Mackay, his faithful caddy, working hard to control his own emotions, before failing on this occasion. While we may never know and can never write the whole story with these athletes, this was a conclusion Sunday that seemed very correct, somehow, under the circumstances. It was as close to a morality play as we get in sports.”

Tiger Woods didn’t win The Masters because Phil was better

Phil Mickelson being 16 under for the tournament helped him win three strokes ahead of Lee Westwood. Tiger Woods finished at 11-under, tied for fourth place with K.J. Choi. As PGA pro Curtis Strange put it on “The Herd” with Colin Cowherd, Phil is “at ease” playing at Augusta National. He was hitting the greens and making all shots for this Masters. Not only will Mickelson take home his third green jacket, which makes him the only one of eight players that won that many, but he will even be bringing home $ 1.35 shares of the Masters payout. Total prize cash for the field was $ 7.5 million.
