Oklahoma Earthquake - 4.3 tremble does no considerable destruction

This morning, Norman Oklahoma had been shaken up by a quake. This Oklahoma earthquake is unusual, but not really strong. The 4.3 magnitude quake was centered about 3.1 miles below the surface of the earth. No major damage or injuries have been reported as a result of the Oklahoma earthquake.

Quake in OK large enough for whole state to experience

There was an OK quake that was quite strong. Lots of the country had been able to experience it. There have been a lot of reports of those feeling the quake. As far as Dallas/Fort Worth, these quakes have been felt. The earthquake was reported to be fairly shallow. This is why it was experienced in so several places. The U.S. geological survey already reported on the quake. It said that it “probably” would not have caused any significant damage to anything or anyone.

Earthquake damages Hall Park, OK

The small town of Hall Park, OK is the only town reporting harm from the OK quake. There were several small cities in OK were shaken pretty bad though. It won’t be hard to repair the damage that occurred in Hall Park since it is quite small. The U.S. Geological Survey quantifies earthquakes within the 4. to 4.9 range as “light.”. There probably won’t be much harm as it’s normal to have a bit of shaking without damage.

The magnitude the Oklahoma quake had been given

Anything from a 4.2 to a 4.9 magnitude had been reported for the Oklahoma earthquake. It is a 4.3 according to the USGS. The specific magnitude of the Oklahoma earthquake will not be settled for a few days, probably.

A lot of people had no idea it was the OK quake

The media and social networks are all saying the same thing. The earthquake was minor in Oklahoma. Most individuals who felt the earthquake did not even realize that it was, in fact, a quake. Some say the shaking felt like a strong wind. Others say the earthquake felt more like a settling of the ground.
